Bangor University needed to improve and upgrade their current radio system. The campus facilities and halls of residence are spaced over an area of the town and some sections are across the Menai Straight on Anglesey meaning that reliable and clear communication is a must.

The system is everything you said it would be and more. I live 9 miles away on Anglesey and struggle to get even a mobile signal let alone a mobile radio signal from our old system. I tested the radio from inside my house last night and it was like I was in the same room as my staff!
In addition to this, the clarity and reception on our new digital radios is in a completely different league to anything we have experienced before. Furthermore, we have yet to find an area on campus where the signal does not work 100%.
